Our January meeting will feature the club's annual Photo Contest, and Board Elections.
If you'd like to enter the contest, simply come to the meeting with a photo of a reptile or amphibian that YOU have taken. You can enter as many as you'd like. Winners will receive a year's membership.
Meetings start promptly at 8pm in the Alumni Room of Medaille College.
Croc Encounters Reptile Park and Wildlife Center
Croc Encounters Reptile Park and Wildlife Center is a new and exciting education experience in Tampa, FL run by relocated WNY Herpetological Society members John and Laura Paner.
Located just minutes from Bush Gardens, Croc Encounters Reptile Park and Wildlife Center boasts 22 acres of mostly natural wetlands which makes for a perfect setting for visiting the many native and exotic species of crocodilians and other reptiles. The natural wetlands also offer an excellent spot to see many native bird and reptile species as well. In addition to their guided tours of the facility, you are also free to visit the self guided exhibits for a great look at the alligators, crocodiles, caiman, and other reptile species.
Croc Encounters Reptile Park and Wildlife Center also offers educational outreach programs to schools and other organizations. These exciting programs offer groups an unique close encounter with many reptile species that will be sure to leave a lasting impression.
John and Laura are also committed to rescuing unwanted alligators and other crocodilians. Croc Encounters Reptile Park and Wildlife Center will accept any unwanted crocodilian that can no longer be cared for by their owners. These rescued crocs will get a second chance to live out their lives in the comfort of Croc Encounters' facilities.
