Amphibian and Reptile Surrender
Many people find themselves in circumstances that they can no longer care for their pet reptiles and amphibians. We will accept as many unwanted reptiles and amphibians as we can and will find them excellent permanent homes.
Please do not simply release your unwanted reptile and amphibian in a park thinking that they will be better off. Most of the commonly available species in the pet trade will not survive our harsh winters here in Western New York and those that can will often displace our own native species. Red eared sliders are an example of an introduced species that will usurp native species like the painted turtle. In the western Untied States the bull frog has caused many problems for the native frog populations found there.
Please contact our adoptions coordinator or at (716) 491-5394 to surrender any animals. If you have an alligator or crocodile that is looking for a home please contact Croc Encounters Reptile Park and Wildlife Center in Tampa, FL at . Croc Encounters will accept any unwanted alligators or crocodiles.
