Amphibian and Reptile Adoption Information
From time to time there are reptile or amphibian pets that are in need of a good home. The Western New York Herpetological Society tries to help place these pets with new parents. While we often get called about iguanas, we also receive calls on many other reptiles and amphibians like bearded dragons, boa constrictors, and many others.
If you are able to give a reptile and amphibian a home please click here to find out how to adopt a reptile or amphibian. If you are looking for a particular type of animal then please let us know so we can let you know if that animal is ever surrendered to us.
If you have a reptile or amphibian pet that you can no longer keep then please see our reptile and amphibian surrender page for more information.
Any additional questions can be directed to our Adoption Coordinator, or by phone at (716) 491-5394
